As Africans and individuals living in the built environment we are often faced with the issue of reconciling space and material usage. How to effectively source them, what value they add to our properties, the complementarity of one element in a space to another, quality, cost effectiveness, aesthetics, lifespan, and ofcourse if it culturally and naturally is of sentimental value to us. All of these aforementioned issues is why l and the rest of the team at Earth and Edifice  Magazine are pleased to present her first ever Issue to readers this March.
